Pathways - Swedish system solutions

This project is a Swedish supplement to the comprehensive project “Pathways to Sustainable European Energy Systems”. The focus is on a number of areas:

Introduction

Investment for sustainable development

Legal obstacles and opportunities for renewable energy resources within the EU and its member states

Pathways to sustainable energy systems – carbon dioxide emissions from stationary sources

Local markets and infrastructures for district heating and cooling – including trade-offs on the user side

Biofuels for electricity and heating in Europe – in competition/ collaboration with other sectors

In addition to these five sub-areas, the project includes four or five theme workshops, in which several professors or senior researchers collaborate on central issues of research.
